This is a compilation of various creation myths. The first creation myth is the Garden of Eden. The second creation myth is the Egyptian creation myth. The third creation myth is the Greco-Roman creation myth. The last creation myth is the Norse creation myth. This video was made for Dr. Famiglietti's English 2 class. All the videos were made with Age of Mythology (Titan's Expansion Pack) map editing software. View the video full-screen (although it is of lesser quality) if you wish to read the text at the bottom of the cinematics. If you are curious, I used fraps (highly suggested, but this is a registered version) for the ingame video capturing and AVS4U (very good compression quality) to compress into compatible windows movie maker files. Enjoy!
I like the Eden creation story and Greco Roman version. I didnt watch the last creation story and I only read the text for the Greco Roman story. I found the text a little bit difficult to read for the Greco Roman story, but as a whole, I liked the story. It was condense and the text worked well with the images to create a complete story and not to mention that the music was appropriate. The Eden story was portrayed very clearly without reading the text (though I am most familiar with this version) and found it easy to understand. The music was good. The video quality could have been better as well as the text. Video was a little choppy and lagging at times. But for its purpose of telling different creation myths, it did its job well, concisely, and used Age of Mythology to effectively show the story.
